Notes from Wikipedia

I had to take a minute to share an item from my of my growing list of wikipedia faves. There may be something wrong about reading Wikipedia articles just for fun (a bit like when you enjoy the flavor of toothpaste, maybe), but this one is really a barnburner. I promise.

Wikipedia’s “List of Cognitive Biases” is a blast; it reads mostly like a list of all the ways to be wrong. What I find most spectacular though is the intricate taxonomy of wrong-ness. Every nuanced way we know to be completely, upside-down, wrong. I love it. Hope you do too.
